Hi Steve983, In your scenario, the amp needs to be turned off in order for sound to transmit to headphone amp but presumably the headphone amp cant be switched off if listening via amp and so how do you 'tell' the signal that you want it to go to the amp and not the headphone amp. Im trying to...

it is me being dim. You are right. so the only way to listen to technics via headphone is to either replace the soprano or get the XDUOO TA-66 and switch the cables from the technics between the soprano & xduoo? Darn! thanks for comment Doug K1youre
